Today on our 2009 Honda CRV we're doing a test fit of the Thule T2 Pro XTB Platform Style 2 Bike Rack. That part number is TH9034XT. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you one of the key features of this rack. We're going to come here to the back and squeeze out our handle. That's going to allow us to tilt our bike rack with our bikes fully loaded away from our vehicle. more

Today on our 2009 Honda CRV we're doing a test fit of the Thule T2 Classic Platform Style 2 Bike Rack. That part number is TH9044. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you one of the key features of this rack. I'm going to come here to the back and pull out on our pin. Then we're going to pull down on our lever. With that pulled down we can actually tilt our bike rack with our bikes fully loaded away from our vehicle, and in this position you'll see we have more than enough room to open up our hatch and get anything in or out that we may need. more

SportRack Escape 3 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2009 Honda CR-V- Video
Today, on this 2009 Honda CRV, we are going to attest Part number A30403 from Sportrack. Couple things to know, that this bicycle rack will work with 1-1/4 receiver hitches, class-two only. This will also work with a class-three receiver hitch, with the included spacer. All right, we'll start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch. Then, we'll tighten down the anti-rattle ball and install the safety clip on the other side. Then, we'll go ahead ang get some clearance measurements. more

Today on our 2009 Honda CRV, were going to do a test fit of part number a30901, from Sportrack. A few things to know about this bicycle rack: it will work with engine quarter receiver hitches, both class one and class two; it will also work with two inch receiver hitches, with the included spacer. Well start out our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch. Then Ill tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and put the safety pin on the other side. Then well go ahead and get some clearance measurements. Clearance from the bicycle rack to the hitch will be about 10 inches. more

Yakima StickUp 2 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2009 Honda CR-V- Video
Today on our 2009 Honda CRV were going to be test fitting the Yakima StickUp 2 Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier, part number Y02420. To mount this carrier to our vehicle well insert the shank into the receiver tube of our hitch. Line up the hitch pin holes and then well thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it with a wrench. Weve got about 13 inches of clearance from the bottom of the carrier to the ground. Weve got about 4 inches of space between the closest part of the bike rack and the closest part of the vehicle. Overall weve added about 14-1/2 inches of length to the rear of our vehicle. more

Today we have with us a 2009 Honda CRV and were going to be test fitting the Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier, part number TH9029. To fit our bike rack on our vehicle well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Well line up the hitch pin holes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down with a wrench. Once weve done that were going to check first for rear vehicle access. Well grab the quick release lever at the bottom of the carrier to fold it down. Well open the cargo door of our CRV and make sure we can still access the cargo area. more

To mount the carrier to our vehicle were going to insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. Well line up the hitch pin holes, feed in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down. Once we have done that were going to check for rear vehicle access. Well remove the pin at the base of the bike rack and tilt it down to make sure we can still open the cargo door of our CRV. Now well tilt the bike rack back up and go over some clearance measurements. more

Today on our 2009 Honda CRV were going to be test fitting the Thule Apex Swing 4 Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier part number TH9027. To mount our carrier to the vehicle first well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our vehicle. Well push it in until the automatic hitch pin closes in our hitch pin hole and then well tighten the anti-rattle device with the hand knob. Next well go over some clearance measurements. Weve got about 6 inches of clearance between the closest part of the bike carrier and the closest part of the vehicle. Weve got about 13 inches of ground clearance from the bottom of the bike rack to the ground. more

Today on our 2009 Honda CRV were going to be test fitting the Thule Apex 4 Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier part number TH9025. To mount our carrier to the vehicle were going to hold open the automatic hitch pin. Well fit the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. Well release the automatic hitch pin and let it snap into place in our hitch pin hole then well use the hand knob to tighten down the anti-rattle device securing our bike rack to the vehicle. Next were going to check for rear vehicle access. Well pull the quick release lever at the base of the bike rack and let it tilt down. more

To mount our bike rack to our vehicle, were going to insert the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. Well line up the hitch pin holes and secure our bike rack with a hitch pin. Next, well check some clearance measurements. Well take the two arms of the wheel trays and pull them down flat. We have about 13 inches of ground clearance from the bottom of the bike rack to the ground. more
