Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 GMC Yukon XL- Video
John: Hey guys. John here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2020 GMC Yukon XL, we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks TRS two bike platform rack for e-bikes. This is designed to fit a two inch trailer hitch receiver and the one of the features I'd like to start off pointing out is it does have a tilt away feature.To do this you'll pull the safety pin here and there's a quick release pin you will also need to pull which allows us to tilt the bike rack away. I would like to point out that the bike rack sits close enough to the Yukon that with a standard bike size like this, it'll clear the pedal when you have the pedal down, but it will come in contact with the handle.You might be able to fit a smaller bike on here and be able to open up the rear hatch without making any contact, but it's really going to depend on the size of your bike.Go ahead and lift the bike back into the towing position. You'll notice here our bike is secured at three points of contact, two ratchet straps on the wheels and then one ratchet strap up here on the tire.To remove the bike, we'll start off by releasing the ratchet straps on the wheels and then we'll press this lever in to release the tension on the ratcheting arm. more

This is designed for one and a quarter inch and two inch hitches and it's a great way to carry four bikes on the back of your Yukon. This not only frees up room inside your Yukon to fit more cargo or passengers, but it means you're not going to be cramming the bikes into the back of your vehicle.So take a closer look here, you can see our bike is secured at three different points. Two ratchet straps on top, and then one here with the anti sway cradle. The anti sway cradle is designed to help limit the movement of your bike while you're heading down the road so that your bikes won't come in contact with each other or the vehicle.To remove the bike, simply press here and loosen up the ratchet strap to remove it and we'll kind of walk our bike back. more

This is designed for 2" by 2" trailer hitch receivers and it comes in a gunmetal gray finish here. It's part number NV22G, as well as a black finish, it's part number NV22B.This is a great way to transport your bikes to your favorite destination without having to load them on top of your vehicle or into the cargo area. It can accommodate up to two bikes weighing 60 pounds each when fits with a max tire width of 4.8". The wheel diameters it can accommodate is 25 to 29". more

John: Hey guys, John here from etrailer.com, and today on our 2020 GMC Yukon XL, we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Destination Platform Rack. This is designed for two inch by two inch trailer hitches and it'll hold up to four bikes, weighing 35 pounds each. This is a great option for getting up to four bikes to your destination without having to toss them up on top of your Yukon XL, or trying to fit them into the rear cargo area.Our bike here is going to be secured at three locations. There's a ratcheting strap on the rear wheel, on the middle post frame and the front wheel. To remove our bike, we'll simply press the lever here, to remove the ratcheting strap. I recommend removing the straps for the wheels first, that way you can use one hand to remove the strap for the middle rack. more
