Hey there, Sierra owners. Today on our 2019 GMC Sierra, we're going to be taking a look at the Swagman Current.It's a two-bike rack that'll handle all of your bike needs, including e-bikes and fat tire bikes. It's a platform style rack, which means your bike sits in these two cradles and up here at the top there is a hook that puts down pressure on your frame to secure the bike in place. As you can see here, we've got our e-bike loaded up. It's also going to work with fat tire bikes up to five inches wide, and just about any other bike you can try and fit in there.Unlike many platform style racks is able to tilt away from your Sierra giving you access to your tailgate. It can do that even with bikes loaded. more

Hey there. Sierra owners. Today on your 2019 GMC Sierra, we're going to bring you some real mountain synergy when we test fit the RockyMounts WestSlope. The WestSlope is a two bike platform style rack with a gradual slope to it here at the back, which is great because it's going to give you plenty of ground clearance at the rear of your Sierra. Like most platform style racks, secures your tires in cradles, and we have a hook here on our front tire that helps put down pressure into that front cradle securing our bike. While in the rear, we have a ratcheting style strap that keeps that rear tire mobilized.The great thing about having a bike rack on the rear of your Sierra, is it frees up your truck bed for more items when you're out on your adventure. more

Today we've got our 2019 GMC Sierra and we're test fitting the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 for ebikes and standard bikes.With all bikes, but especially with ebikes you don't want them rattling around in your truck bed. Plus you want to keep your truck bed free for anything you're taking on your adventure, so this is a great option to add to your Sierra allowing you to take two bikes along for the ride.It's a platform style rack. That means it holds your bike in place here at the wheels, and up at the top we have a frame hook that puts down pressure on the bike, keeping it secure into those cradles.A cool thing about this rack unlike some others, is its ability to tilt away from your Sierra even with bikes loaded. So even if you've got two ebikes on here, you're able to pull that pin down at the base, lift up slightly and pull out this top knob. That's going to tilt the bike away, giving you a little extra space here to get into your tailgate. more

Hey there, Sierra owners. Today on our 2019 GMC Sierra, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider Two Bike platform style rack.Having a bike rack on the rear of your Sierra can actually help you free up space in your bed for those adventures you're going on. Also, with nicer bikes like carbon fiber bikes, people don't always want them just rattling around in the truck bed, this is a great way to secure your bikes and get them where you're going. Platform racks secure your bikes at the tires, and there is a cradle up top that puts down pressure on the bike, keeping it in those cradles. The nice thing about this is it's not hanging by the top tube like with other style bike racks.Now like this, you'll notice getting into the tailgate of your Sierra is a little difficult, but that's not a problem with this rack. There's a pin down here we can pull out, and once we've loosened that pin, then we can pull out on the knob, and that's going to let the bike tilt away. more

Today I have a 2019 GMC Sierra and we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Camber hanging-style bike rack.This bike rack is going to be able to hold up to four bikes with three tie-down points per bike. You're going to have a zip tie-style hanging system, which is going to have two straps on top and then one anti-sway cradle on the bottom, and what does this anti-sway cradle is going to do, it's going to help with that bike-to-bike contact and bike-to-vehicle contact when you're going down the road.As you can see, these mounts for your bike, it does have a rubber insert, which is going to protect your bike while hauling them anywhere, and also it has these little grooves which is going to be for your bike cables so they don't damage your frame.Let me just show you how easy it is to take this bike off the rack. It really is simple. You have this little pressure pin right here, you push down, and it slides right out, do that on both sides, and the anti-sway cradle. more

Colin: Hey guys, it's Colin here at etrailer. Today we have a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500, and we're going to be test fitting the Saris Glide EX 5-Bike Rack. This is a hanging style bike rack that'll allow you to transfer up to five bikes to and from your destination. Now if five bikes is a little bit too much capacity for you, there is a couple of other options you have. You do have the option for a 4-Bike Rack, the only difference between that one and this one, is that you just have one less set of cradles. So it's going to be the same length of arms, you are going to have more spacing between bikes with the 4-bike version. more
