That's gonna be a really high-end platform style bike rack that mounts up into your two inch by two inch hitch. So if you're looking for a hitch mounted rack you're in the right place. That might not be my first choice for carrying bikes on the Ranger, since you do have the truck bed. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Ford Ranger- Video
Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination E on our 2021 Ford Ranger. The Destination E is going to be a platform style bike rack able to accommodate up to two bikes, with a very impressive weight capacity of up to 70 pounds, which means that we're going to be able to carry our heavy electric E-bikes which is kind of the main draw, and a lot of the features are built around that idea here with the Hollywood Racks Destination E. As we can see, our main point of contact is going to be on the frame here. So unfortunately, our carbon frame bikes are not really going to be an option available for this rack. But depending on your alternative frame bike, you might be able to adjust the knob to clamp on or if you get some sort of bike adapter part, we could easily accommodate for that. more

RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Ford Ranger- Video
Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the RockyMounts GuideRail on our 2021 Ford Ranger. Now the GuideRail is going to be a platform-style bike rack, with a individual weight capacity for 60 pounds per bike, which is really nice, meaning that our heavier bikes and our electric bikes are going to be an option for this rack. Our two main points of contact are also two ratcheting arms one for the front wheel and one for the back wheel, meaning we are making no frame contact, which also means that our carbon frame bikes and our alternative frame bikes are going to be an option for this rack too. So the amount of different bikes that this rack can carry is a big diverse amount, but how does it really operate with our Ranger Well, the GuideRail has a tilt-away feature that if we pull this handle right here, it'll actually tilt down. And surprisingly enough, with our Ranger here, we can actually lower our tailgate and it does not make any contact. more

Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the RockyMounts AfterParty on our 2021 Ford Ranger. Now the first thing we do wanna show you in what makes the AfterParty such a unique bike rack is the included swing away feature on it. So as we come down here to the bottom there is going to be this knob that after we loosen up a little bit Oh, there we go. And then we unthread. It will allow us to go ahead and pull an additional knob here on the top and then the whole entire rack will swing away from our vehicle. more

The MonoRail does have some really cool features, such as a tilt away, which is engaged by a handle right here towards the back and then lets you just slowly tilt our rack away from our Ranger. more

Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Ford Ranger- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Saris Superclamp EX 4-bike Rack Carrier on our 2021 Ford Ranger. Now take a look, this guy can be a little monstrous looking looks like there's a lot going on. However, it's actually pretty straightforward and very simple to use and you're still getting a lot of versatility with this rack. Right off the back, you can see we do have a tire hold maneuver here. So if you're looking at a way of getting those carbon frame bikes up to the trailer with you, this can be an option, as we are getting good clampage on either of our tires. more

Hey, everybody. Welcome to Eatrailer.com I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Hollywood racks road runner four bike carrier on our 2021 Ford ranger. Now this can be an excellent way of getting a multitude of bikes to the trail head with you but if you're really concerned about a lot of sway and then to make sure that our bikes kind of stay stable and not banging into each other this can be a great option, especially if you're looking at still getting a hanging style rack. I think this guy really excels at making sure we're getting a lot of good contact and really reducing that sway of our bikes. You can see, we do have a dual arm support system so right out of, right out of the gate we're going to have a lot less play going left and right. more

Now with only a 40 pound weight capacity we aren't gonna get some of those heavier bikes that you might see from over those bigger platforms. Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Ford Ranger nv22g- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 on our 2021 Ford Ranger. Now the Kuat NV is definitely one of the top of the line platform racks out there and that is for a reason, it's got a lot of great features, it looks really nice and is extremely easy to use. So, let's go ahead and start breaking it down for ourselves. As you can see, it is a tire hold format here, so if you're looking for a way of transporting your carbon frame bikes, this is going to be an excellent option as we don't have any frame contact, so we wouldn't be warping those carbon frames, won't be deteriorating them, so we actually are going to be able to trade support them with no problem at all. With that as well, since we have a tire hold system, we are going to get those women bikes, step through bikes and even those kiddo bikes with no issue at all. A lot of the times, you actually need like a bike adapter bar to get these to work on those frame clamp systems, however today as you can see, we're going to have no need for those at all, and with a 60 pound capacity rating per bike, we are going to get some more bigger, heavier, beefier bikes up on here with no problem at all, that even includes those big e-bikes, yes you can even take off those battery packs though, to really reduce that weight, hopefully make for a clean system and as we can see, can take the strain off our bike rack, those batteries can be hazardous, not only to our frames but also to our rack and our vehicle, so let's make sure we're storing those away. more

Now, if you're looking for a very easy way and a lightweight carrier to get up onto our truck and a nice way of getting our single bike systems up to the trail head with you, this is gonna be an excellent option. With a 60 pound weight capacity, we're gonna get some of those heavy e-bikes up on here, most of our standard and mountain bike tires, as well as because we have a tire hold format here, we can actually go ahead and throw our carbon frames up on here. So it can be an excellent way of getting those carbon frames 'cause we don't have any frame contact. So it won't be deteriorating or warping those frames. more
