All right, today on this 2010 Ford Flex, we're going to do a test fit of part number S64665 from Swagman. This is the XTC-4 bike rack. Okay one quick note about this bicycle rack that it is designed for 2-inch receivers only. We'll go ahead and install in our hitch, we'll slide an anti-rattle bolt and install a lock on the other side. Now with our bike installed, let's go ahead and give you some measurement that will give you an idea of clearance between the bumper and bike rack and the bike rack and the ground. Looks like bumper clearance is just under half an inch and ground clearance is 11 and 1/4 inches. more

Today on this 2011 ford Flex were going to do a test fit of a Thule bike rack, part number TH9031, the Vertex Swing 4 bike rack. One quick note about this bicycle rack that it is designed for two inch receivers only. Well start off by installing the rack into the hitch. Well tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and then go from there. The bike rack does come with a tool to tighten it down, however a inch wrench may work better in certain applications. Next well give you some measurements that will give you an idea of clearance between the bicycle rack and the bumper and the ground. more

One quick note about this bicycle rack is that will work of 1-1/4-inch receiver hitches, class 2 only, with the included adapter. In this application, we're using a 2-inch receiver. OK, we will start off by installing the bike rack into the hitch. We will tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and then install the lock onto it as well. more
