Collin: Hey, everyone. Collin here at Etrailer. Today we have a 2018 Ford F150, and we're going to do a test fit of the Thule Hitching Post Pro, four bike rack. This is a hanging style bike rack, which mounts to the hitch receiver of your Ford. It's going to let you carry up to four bikes to and from your destination. That's going to help conserve space on the inside of your bed, maybe you got other cargo luggage you want to carry in there, and you're going to be able to do that and get your bikes on the outside of the bed.Our bike is going to be secured at three different points. more

First, we're gonna show you one of the key features of this rack. We're gonna come here between where we load up our bikes and we're gonna pull down on our lever, just under there. We pull down, we're able to tilt our bike rack away from our vehicle and in this position, we can almost get our bike .. Or our tailgate open all the way to get anything in or out that we may need.To put our bike rack back into place, we simply lift up and until it clicks. more

The key feature is going to be our tilt. We're going to lift up slightly on the back and pull out on the red pin closest to our vehicle. When we pull that out, we can tilt our bike rack away from our vehicle. Unfortunately, at this point, we're not going to gain full access into our tailgate, or our truck bed. We can have somebody hold our tailgate and grab out those smaller items that you might need. more

We're going to come here to the back to our handle underneath, we're going to pull out, we'll be able to tilt our bike rack away from our vehicle with our bikes fully loaded.In this position we are not going to gain full access into our truck bed. We will get quite a bit of access here though so if you have somebody hold on to you tailgate, you can gain most of your access to your bed.Then to put our bike rack back into place, we simply lift up until it clicks. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Ram 1500, we're doing a test-fit of the RockyMounts BackStage Platform-Style 2-Bike Rack, part number: RKY10002.Now, we already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you one of the key features of this rack. Now, one thing to note, you'll see where our handle is down here, we want to make sure that it's turned to the side so that we can tilt our bike rack away from our vehicle all the way. To tilt it, we're going to pull out on our blue handle here at the back.We'll be able to tilt that down, away from our vehicle. I like to move my pedal so that it's up higher, but you'll see that we're not going to be able to gain full access into our back truck-bed area in this position. That is okay though because we do have another position, which will allow us to gain full access.To do that, we'll start by lifting up until our bike rack locks into place, and we can loosen up our handle all the way. We're going to loosen this up completely, but it will not come out of our hitch. more
