Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Bike Rack Review - 2018 Ford Explorer- Video

Hi Matt with etrailer. and today we're gonna be talking about the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE bike rack on the 2018 Ford Explorer. Now this is gonna be one of our more heavy duty platform bike racks. It's gonna have the potential to hold up the two bikes up the 80 pounds per bike so that's gonna be able to accommodate your e-bikes. And what's also great about that is 80 pounds is a lot of weight, so compared to other e-bike carriers it's gonna outperform most of them. Since it is able to accommodate 80 pounds per bike, it's also gonna be a little bit more difficult to maneuver around but it's also gonna have three tie-down points, two in the tires, and then one on our main frame. more

So this is going to hold two different bikes on this rack, and it is e-bike approved. It has three different tie-down points that connect to your bike. Two of them are down here on your wheels and first thing I really noticed, these are metal cradles right here, and also the width of these cradles will be compatible with fat tire bikes as well.
