Yakima StickUp 2 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Journey- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Journey well be test fitting the Yakima Stickup two bike hitch-mounted folding bike rack for both inch and a quarter and two inch hitches, part number Y02420. Now with the included adapter already installed on our shank well go ahead and slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. Now that the bolt is tight, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. At this point we can go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack is 12 inches, and with the platform up from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is five and a quarter inches. Well now go ahead and unfold the bike rack platform and open our cargo door. more

Thule Apex 4 Swing Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Journey- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Journey well be test fitting the Thule Apex Swing four bike carrier, part number TH9027. To begin our test fit, using the included two inch adapter, well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and allow the integrated locking hitch pin to fall into place. We can then move to the anti-rattle knob where well tighten it down, securing the bike rack to the vehicle. At this point we can go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack is 12 inches, and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle here at the anti-rattle knob is four inches. Well now go ahead and pull the hitch switch here at the top of the mast to bring out the dual arms, where we can then undo the straps to expose our cradles. more

Today on our 2013 Dodge Journey well be test fitting the Softride Dura parallelogram, part number SR26247. Were going to begin our test fit well simply slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. At this point well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack is 12 inches, and from the closest point on the bike rack to the back of the vehicle, here at the mast is five and a half inches. Today on our 2013 Dodge Journey well be test fitting the Kuat aluminum two bike carrier, part number S102. This is the Kuat Sherpa. To begin our test fit, using the adapter for the two inch hitch, well slide our bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install our hitch pin. Well then move to the back of the shank where well tighten the knob, securing out bike rack to the vehicle. We can now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack is 16 inches, and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is six inches. more

Today on our 2013 Dodge Journey well be test fitting the Kuat NV, part number N101. To begin our test fit well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install the hitch pin. We can then move to the back of the shank where well tighten the knob securing our bike rack tot eh vehicle. With our bike rack secured well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack is 12 inches, and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is seven inches. Well now go ahead and unfold the bike rack platform and open our cargo door. more

To mount our carrier to the vehicle, well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Well line up the hitch pinholes and secure the bike rack with the safety pin then well come back and use the hand knob at the base of the carrier to tighten up the anti-rattle device. Now well go over a handful of clearance measurements.
