Today on our 2013 Dodge Durango, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima Full Tilt. This is our 4-bike folding and tilting style rack. It's been designed for use with 1 1/4 inch or 2-inch hitches. Part number on it is Y02462. Now, you can also get this in a 5-bike if you prefer, Y02463 will be that part number. To begin our test fit, we're going to slide the shank into the receiver tube of our hitch. more

Saris Freedom SuperClamp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2013 Dodge Durango- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Durango we're going to be doing a test fit on the Saris Freedom Superclamp. This is a 2-bike platform-style rack designed for 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. Part number on it is SA4025. Now to begin our test fit we're going to slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll line up our threaded hole with our hitch pinhole. With those in line we can our standard anti-rattle bolt. You will want your washer to be on there. more

Saris Bike Porter Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2013 Dodge Durango- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Durango, we are going to be doing a test fit on the Saris Bike Porter. This is a folding and tilting 4 bike rack. It's been designed for use with inch and a quarter or two inch hitches. The part number on it is SA404B. Now this is also available in a two bike configuration if you'd prefer that, part number there is SA402B. To begin the test fit we are going to slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. We slide it in far enough to line up that threaded hole with our hitch pin hole. more

To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, thread our anti-rattle bolt through the pin holes and tighten with a wrench. Now well go ahead and go over a few clearance measurements to see how the bike carrier and this vehicle will fit together. Theres about 12 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about two inches. With the platform folded up weve added about 10 inches to the overall length of the vehicle. more

To load the bike well undo the cradle straps, set the bike into the frame cradles and secure it with the straps. more

Today on our 2013 Dodge Durango, we'll be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post Pro, part number TH934XTR. Now to begin our test fit, we'll slide the bike rack shank into the hitch using the included adapter for the 2-inch hitch. We'll line up the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With the anti-rattle bolt tight, our bike is secured to the vehicle. We'll now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack is 12-1/4 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 7 inches. more

Kuat Sherpa Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Dodge Durango- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Durango well be test fitting the Kuat Sherpa Aluminum Hitch Mounted 2 Bike Carrier part number S102. To begin our test fit using the included 2-inch adaptor well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install our hitch pin. Well then move to the back of the shank where well tighten the knob securing the bike rack to the vehicle. We can now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack is 13-1/2 inches. From the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 3-1/2 inches. more

Now to begin our test fit well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch and allow the integrated locking hitch pin to fall into the hitch pin hole. We can then move to the anti-rattle knob where well tighten it down securing our bike rack to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack is 13-1/2 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack here at the anti-rattle knob to the back of the vehicle is 2 inches. Well now pull the hitch switch here at the base of the rack which will allow us to tilt the mast down. more

Today on our 2013 Dodge Durango, we'll be test fitting the Swagman Titan 4 Bike Carrier, part number S63410. Now with our included adapter for the 2-inch hitch already installed, we'll go ahead and slide our bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, our bike is secured to the vehicle. We'll now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the bike rack is 16 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 10-1/2 inches. We'll now go ahead and pull the switch here at the base of the rack which will allow us to tilt the mast down. more

Now to begin our test fit using the included adaptor for the two inch hitch, well slide our bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install our hitch pin. Well then put the clip on the other side of the pin which will secure our bike rack to the vehicle.Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the back of the bike rack is 16.5 inches. From the closest point on the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is eight inches.Well now go ahead and unfold the bike rack platform and open our cargo door. more
