Hollywood Racks Traveler 5 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Dodge Charger- Video
Today on our 2012 Dodge Charger, we will be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Traveler 5 Bike Carrier part number hr9200. Now to begin our test fit, we will slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, align up our pinholes, thread our anti-rattle bolt through the pinholes and tighten with a wrench. Now we will go ahead and go over a few clearance measurements to see how the bike carrier and this vehicle will fit together. There is about 6 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the vehicle to the closest part of the carrier is about 7 inches. With the cradle arms folded down, we've added about 11 inches to the overall length of the vehicle. more

Now well go ahead and go over a few clearance measurements to see how the bike carrier and this vehicle will fit together. Theres about six inches of ground clearance, the closet part of the vehicle to the closet part of the carrier is about two inches. With the cradle arms folded down weve added about seven inches to the overall length of the vehicle. With the cradle arms folded out weve added about 31 to the overall length of the vehicle.With this bike carrier and this vehicle you can access the cargo area with the mast of the carrier in its upright position or we can lift up on the red knob and tilt the mast down, this will also allow you to have access to your trunk. more

Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2012 Dodge Charger- Video
All right today in this 2012 Dodge Charger, we're going to do a test fit of part number TH9029 from Thule; the Vertex Four Bicycle rack. A few things to know about this bicycle rack that it will work with inch and a quarter receiver hitches both class one and class two. This will also work with two-inch receiver inches with the provided spacer. And one other thing to know that when you use this bicycle rack for class one receiver hitch, you're limited to carrying just two bicycles. Now we'll start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch, and then we'll go ahead and tighten down the anti-rattle bolt. All right, now we'll go ahead and get some clearance measurements. more

All right, today in this 2012 Dodge Charger, we're going to do a test fit of part # TH9025 from Thule, the Apex 4 Bike Carrier. Now we're going to start of our test fit by installing a bike rack into the hitch. We'll open up the integrated hitch pin. Make sure your pin latches in and then go ahead and tighten down the anti-rattle knob. All right, now I'll go ahead and get a couple clearance measurements. Clearance from the bike rack to the bumper in the car is about one inch and ground clearance is only about seven inches. more
