Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe S64684- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we'll be doing test fit of a Swagman Dispatch 2-Bike Platform Rack part number S64684. This comes with a 2 inch shank that goes into a 2 inch hitch. It also has anti-rattle bolt. Right now, we have it installed, but the bolt's not tight. It shows a lot of sway. We need to tighten that up with our 7/8 ratchet like so. more

Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe we're going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Tire Hold 3. This is going to be your platform-style 3bkr, part number INH305-306. As you can see, we've already got it up here on our vehicle with the bike in place so you can see what it's going to look like once you have it fully assembled and in place on the back of yours. It does come with an 1-1/4" shank as well as a 2" adapter. Now keep in mind that it can be used with your class one, two, and three receivers. If you plan on using it with your class one you're only going to be able to carry up to two bikes, and that is per your hitch's weight specifications. It also will come with your 3/4" anti-rattle bolt with a lock for anti-tamper. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex Swing, part number TH9031XT. This is going to be your hanging style, 4-bike rack and as you can see, we already have our bike on here so you can see what it would look like once you have your bike in place with the cradle arms extended. Now first thing we're going to do is get some measurements, starting with our closest distance first. From the T-handle here to the back side of the bumper is going to be about 6-1/4 inches. Our overall distance with the cradle arms extended is going to be from the rear of the bumper to that point and about 37 inches. Our ground clearance will be from the base of the bike rack at about 21-5/8 inches. Now let's move up front and talk about the swing feature. Go ahead and remove this pin on the end, and it has two holes. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we are going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex. This is going to be your hanging-style 4 bike rack. It's going to be part number TH9029XT. As you can see, we've already got our bike up here, so you can see what it would look like once you have your bike in place and the whole rack installed. The first thing we're going to do is get a few measurements, starting with our closest distance first, which will be from that flange on the the front-hand side of the rack to the back side of the bumper. It's going to be part number SR2415. As you can see, we've already got our bike up here and mounted so you can see what it would look like once you get it all installed and with your bike in place. The first thing we're going to start with is getting our measurements. The closest distance will be our first one. That's going to be from that t-handle on the fronthand side to the back fascia and bumper here, about 5-1/2". more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe we're going to be doing a test fit of the Swagman Trailhead. This is going to be your hanging-style 4-bike rack, part number S63380. As you can see, we've already got our bike up here so you can see what it would look like once you have your bike in place with your cradle arms extended when you're ready to hit the road. First thing we're going to do is get a few measurements, starting off with the closest distance first, which in this case is going to be from right here at the bottom of the bend in the shank to the back end of your receiver. Now note that this does have your 1-1/4" shank. If you do decide to put it in your class one hitches, that you're only going to be able to carry two bikes. Now it does have that 2" adapter as well, so it's going to attach to that 2" receiver. more

Today, on a 2015 Chevy Tahoe, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Pro Series Q-Slot. This is going to be your Platform Style 4-Bike Rack. Part Number PS63138. As you can see, we've already got one bike up on here, so you can see what it would look like once you have it installed on your vehicle with a bike in place. It does connect with that 2 inch shank to your 2 inch receiver only. So, you're not going to be able to use it with that class 1 and class 2 hitch. Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we'll be doing a test fit of the SportRack Ridge 3. This will be your hanging style, 3-bike rack. It does come with that inch-and-a-quarter shank, but it's going to be for your Class II hitches only. It also comes with your two-inch adapter for your class III and up. If you look here, you're going to see that we already have our bike in place so you can see what it's going to look like once you have it done and on the rack. It's going to be part number SR2403. Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe we're going to be doing a test fit of the Curt Premium 4. This would be your hanging style 4-bike rack, part number C18064. As you can see, we've already got it up here on our vehicle so you can see what it would look like once you have it in place on your vehicle with a bike on it as well. First thing we're going to do is go ahead and get some measurements, starting with our closest distance first, which in this case is going to be from the thumb knob in the front bracket plate here to the back side of the bumper. That's going to be about 5-7/8". Overall distance that we've added to the vehicle will be from the rear of the bumper to the back of the cradle arms, at about 36". Our ground clearance is going to be about 22". Now that we've talked about those, let's talk about the straps on the top here. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe we're going to be doing a test fitting on the Thule Hitching Post Pro. This is a folding and tilting 4-bike rack. It's been designed for use with 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. The part number on it is TH934XTR. To begin the fit we're just going to slide the shank of our rack right into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll line up our threaded hole here with our hitch pinhole. With those in line we can take our threaded anti-rattle bolt which is provided; we'll slide that in and go ahead and thread it through. more

Hollywood Racks Traveler Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we are going to be doing a test fit on the Hollywood Racks Traveler, this is their five bike series of hitch bike rack. It's designed to fold away from your vehicle, the arms fold down for a nice convenient storage. Part number on it is HR9200. Now the rack has been designed for use in two inch hitches. We'll begin our test fit by simply sliding the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll going to line up threaded hole with our hitch pin hole. We have those lined up, we'll take the anti rattle bolt which is provided, we'll slide this on and then we are going to begin threading it through. more

Hollywood Racks Traveler Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe HR8500- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we are going to be doing a test fit of the Hollywood Racks Traveler folding and tilting four bike rack. They've designed this for use with inch and a quarter or two inch hitches part number on it is HR8500. Now to begin our test fit, we are going to slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch, then line up our threaded hole with our hitch pin hole. With those in line, we'll take our threaded anti rattle bolt which is provided, we are going to slide that into the rack and begin thread it on through. With it just hand tight, you'll notice some movement and some play there, it's time to tighten this down. Once we've got it nice and secure, all that movement and all that play is gone. We can then have a clip that is provided, we are just going to slide that in the other end of the bolt there. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe were going to be doing a test fit on the Softride Element Parallelogram. This is a folding, tilt-away style four bike rack. Its designed for use with 1-1/4 or 2 inch hitches. Part number on it is SR26248. To being our test fit we just slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. On the passenger side here weve got two threaded holes. Weve got one thats located a little bit further back and one thats in there a little bit closer. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Saris Bike Porter. This is a folding and tilting 4-bike rack, it's been designed for use with 1 1/4 or 2 inch hitches. Part number on it is SA404B. This also comes in a 2-bike if you'd prefer, that part number is SA404B. In the test fit, we slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. We then line up the threaded hole with our hitch pinhole. With those in line we'll take the provided anti-rattle bolt, this gets threaded in from the driver's side on over to the passenger's side. more
