Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Colorado- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Yakima StageTwo on our 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. Now, StageTwo is a platform style bike rack, and a really rugged one at that, it's gonna be really well built in heavy-duty. With this, we're holding the bike by our front tire, and it's not making any frame contact, so it's gonna be good for our carbon and alternative frame bikes, and it also has a 70 pound weight capacity per bike, which makes it good for some of our heavier e-bikes too. With this, you do have the ability to tilt it away with bikes loaded. Now, just come to the end of the handle here, squeeze it with both hands as you're applying a little bit of upward pressure, and then it will release, and that'll give us access to the bed of our truck with a full opening tailgate. more

Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Colorado- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Saris SuperClamp HD on our 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. The SuperClamp's a platform style bike rack, can hold up to 2 bikes and it's gonna hold them by the tires using these wheel hooks. Now this one's going to get an exceptionally strong hold on the bike. You can see there's no movement of the bike within the bike rack because we've got the hooks as well as cradles with straps on the bottom to keep everything really secure. Saris Freedom Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Colorado- Video
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our Saris Freedom Bike Rack on our 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. Now the Freedom's gonna be a platform style bike rack holding the bike in these cradles, and by our frame it's gonna be a pretty entry level platform style rack but it does have some nice features that I really like compared to some other entry level options. The big thing of that being it's weight capacity it has a 60 pound capacity per bike which for an entry level rack is really uncommon. So if you need a way to carry e-bikes this is gonna be a nice way to do it at an affordable price point. more

It's gonna be a platform-style bike rack that's gonna hold the bike in the tray and by our front wheel. We're using a wheel hook to do that, and that's gonna mean zero frame contact, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. With the 60 pound weight capacity per bike, it's gonna be able to handle some e-bikes too. It does hold the bike really well on there, there's really no movement of the bike within the bike rack itself, which is great to see, everything's stable. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination E-Bike on our 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. Now it's going to be an E-Bike rack that has a 70 pound weight capacity per bike, making it good for some of our heavier E-Bikes. With that, it is going to hold the bike in these trays, and by our frame up here. Frame contact does mean we wanna avoid carbon frame bikes, so it does eliminate that, but with the way the clamps rotate 360 degrees, and are able to move around, it should be good for alternative frame bikes, still. more

It's gonna hold the bike up here by the frame and it's going to fall down right here. You've got two straps over top the frame to hold it in place as well as a third around the seatpost, limiting our side to side movement that will help with bike to bike contact. more

Hi everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at this Saris Glide EX Five, hanging style bike rack on our 2015 Chevy Colorado. Is this going to be able to hold up to five bikes with three tie down points per bike You have two here on the top of your frame and one anti sway cradle on the bottom and what the anti sway cradle is going to do, it's going to limit that bike to bike contact that you get when you're going down the road.The main feature with this bike rack is it does allow you to tilt with the bikes installed, so you have this nice little trigger here. Press that down and it tilts. And on this Colorado, we do have a little bit of contact at the very bottom edge of this tilting feature. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at Hollywood Racks Destination Platform Style Rack on our 2015 Chevy Colorado.This is going to be able to hold up to four bikes, with three tie down points per bike. We have two wheel cradles on front and back with some zip tie style straps. Those are very easy to undo, and it only touches your inside of your rim, but it does have a little rubber insert right here, and this is going to protect your rim from any scratches or any sorts of things like that.What I really do like about this bike rack, is it's going to be able to fit a lot of your bikes that you throw at it. So this middle main support here does rotate 360 degrees around this center mast here, and also rotates 360 degrees around the pivot point too. So that's going to be able to accommodate for all those different style framed bikes like this one right here. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Reese 3 bike rack on our 2015 Chevy Colorado.This is going to be able to hold up to three bikes with two different tie-down points per bike. It's just got a hook-and-loop-type strap that you can just undo like that. It does not have an anti-sway cradle, so you will have some movement of your bike when you're going down the road. This is a very economical choice to get your bike from point A to point B. Once you undo those two straps, you can just take your bike right off. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Colorado- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Colorado we're doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex hanging style four bike rack. That part number is TH9029XT. Now we already have our bike secured down. First we're going to show you how we do that. So we have two cradles in place with three straps, two on our frame and one as our anti-sway strap in the back. We're going to start by releasing those. Then we'll be able to pull our bike off of our rack and set it off to the side. With our bike out of the way now, we'll start by taking some measurements. more
