Hi Matt with etrailer, and today, we're talking about the Reese Elite Pop-in Ball Kit, so let's check it out. And what this is gonna come with is it's gonna come with a 2 5/16th ball mount, and then we're gonna get two safety chain loops, and we'll have a cover included for when you're not using it. And depending on your vehicle, you're gonna get a bag. So you can so store all of it, so you can keep it nice and tidy. This is really easy to use. It pops in really smoothly. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Ford F-250 and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Reese gooseneck puck system. This system is going to be a great solution if you didn't get the puck system from the factory and you wanted one, or if you're looking for a truck on the market that doesn't have one, that's not the end of the world. You don't have to look for a truck that has it just to be able to get these same features. This system is going to be almost identical to the Ford factory puck system. You're gonna have the four pucks on the outside, which will accept your fifth wheel hitches, and then you'll have the gooseneck hole in the middle so that you can drop a gooseneck ball in there and be able to tow gooseneck trailers. more

Now CURT does offer a different kit of this with a 38,000 pound weight capacity, so if you need a little bit more, you can check that out. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this Curt Gooseneck Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit for your 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with the factory towing prep package. If you have the towing prep package, this is the easiest way to add a gooseneck ball to your truck and be able to tow a gooseneck trailer because it's just a drop-in system. Very easy to do, and when it's not in use, you can take it out and leave nothing behind, so there's full access to your truck bed. And you could easily swap this out for maybe a drop-in fifth wheel, if you also have that. more

So nowadays, it's pretty convenient, a lot of these trucks are coming with the prep packages in place and it makes it super convenient to use, you know, a goose ball kit like this Curt one here, or even a fifth wheel for that matter 'cause they just drop into place and allow you to hook your trailer right up to 'em if your truck does not come equipped from the factory with that prep package, not a huge deal. There's a lot of other hitches available that will let you get the same thing done, more or less, and hook up to your trailers. With that said though, this kit will work with trucks that have a short bed or a long bed like ours today and it's gonna have a two and 5/16 diameter ball. Pretty much standard there as far as gooseneck trailers go. more

Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Reese Pro Series Gooseneck Ball and Safety Chain loop kit for your factory towing prep package on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. If your Silverado has the towing prep package and you need a way to tow a gooseneck trailer, this is the way to go. I mean, utilizing that factory prep package makes it one really quick and easy to add, but also very quick and easy to remove and it's already in your truck bed. You might as well utilize it. It's just a drop-in system that gives you the ball and the safety chain loop so you can be towing safely. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 Ram 1500, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Kit. Adding this gooseneck hitch to the back of your Ram 1500 is gonna allow you to do a couple of different things. You can use it for its sole purpose and haul gooseneck trailers. You can put B&W Companion in it and haul fifth wheel trailers. In our specific case, we cannot do the fifth wheel conversion because we have these Ram boxes on the side, and you will have to use a standard rail kit with a standard fifth wheel and use a side winder on your camper in order to haul a fifth wheel with your short bed truck. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose underbed gooseneck kit on a 2018 Ford F-250. You should be able to cover just about any camper and most heavy duty industrial loads whether it be heavy equipment or whatever else you may load up. Now the Hide-A-Goose is an interesting system. A lot of times on your fifth wheel, you're gonna have a lever on the side of the truck and that's gonna allow you to lock and unlock the ball in there. Now, some of those can get a little funky and they seem to hang up sometimes, whereas this is a little bit different. more

Now, the B&W hitch is going to be a great option to be able to tow gooseneck trailers down the road safely, but in addition to gooseneck trailers, B&W also makes the companion fifth wheel hitch whether you want the slider or the stationary one, they're both going to drop down into the square shank of your gooseneck. You'll take your ball out, drop your fifth wheel hitch down in it, it locks down to your bed so that you're safe to tow your fifth wheel trailer too. That's why I like the B&W hitch so much is because it's so versatile. They have other accessories that you can use too, but you can only use them with the B&W gooseneck hitch. more

Today we have a 2022 Ram 2500 and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you some of the cool features about the B and W ball and safety chain loop for Ram factory puck systems. This kit is going to include your gooseneck ball which is a 2 5/16 gooseneck ball rated at 30,000 pounds, two safety chain loops that are going to install in the rear two pucks. They do not fit in the front pucks. The design of the rear puck is a little bit different and it's not nearly as narrow as the front, so they'll install in your rears. What I like about 'em is that all three of 'em are going to lock into place. more

B and W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2024 GMC Sierra 3500- Video
Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 GMC Sierra 3500, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the B&W turnover ball gooseneck hitch. Now, right off the bat, there's gonna be many different gooseneck hitches available for the 2024 GMC 3500. What the biggest thing that's gonna set this gooseneck hitch apart from the others, is that when you're not using it, simply pull the latch which releases the ball, flip it over, (metal clangs) and you can store it (metal clunks) inside of the hitch, and not have to worry about it being in the way. You can see that the top of our hitch is flush with the top of our corrugation here. And then, whenever you're ready to use it, you simply flip it over, (metal clunks) set it back down into place, and then latch the pin. more

Hey, everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be checking out the Curt Goose Ball and Safety Chain Kit for trucks with the OEM Prep Package on our 2016 Ram 2500. With the factory puck systems, you know, it's really cool how easy they make it to be able to use, you know, a gooseneck style hitch or even a 5th wheel for that matter, you know, these things just drop right into place. And that's exactly how this kit is gonna work, and it'll be compatible with trucks that have a long bed like ours as well as the short bed. With that said, as far as the kit is concerned, I think it's decent. This one is a really heavy-duty style one, it's got a rating of 38,000 pounds, which is definitely up there. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2024 GMC Sierra 3500, we're gonna be checking out the Curt goose ball and safety chain kit for trucks with the OEM prep package. I think it's really cool as of late that manufacturers started putting these prep packages in the back of their heavy-duty trucks, and it makes hauling a gooseneck trailer or even a fifth wheel super easy, because you can take the hitches and just set 'em into place and you're ready to rock and roll. And that's the case with this one, Everything more or less we'll just drop right in and utilize the factory-style puck system. With that said, the ball for this one is gonna be 2 and 5/16, so more or less standard, for all those types of goosenecks out there. And this one is rated for up to 30,000 pounds, so pretty high weight capacity. more

We're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the B&W Gooseneck Hitch with the Turnover Ball. If you're looking for the ultimate way to haul a Gooseneck trailer, this is gonna be the most ideal hitch. The reason for that is because you obviously can haul Gooseneck trailers once you install this in your vehicle, but the B&W hitch also has a companion fifth wheel hitch. So you don't really have to decide between a Gooseneck or fifth wheel rails. more

It's the BMW OEM puck system Gooseneck Ball and Safety Chain Loops. Well, right off the bat, what I like to point out about this kit is that it will come with this carrying case, which is really nice because you're gonna use all three of these components at one time anyway. And a lot of people don't like to leave 'em in the bed of their truck, so they give you a case to put 'em in when you're done using them. It's gonna help 'em last longer if you keep 'em out of the weather and you can put it in this case and set it in the back of your truck or either in the bed of your truck or the back seat of your truck and everything's gonna stay together. more
