Best 2017 Ram 2500 Gooseneck Options- Video
Speaker 1: Today we're going to be looking at the best gooseneck options for our 2017 Ram 2500. While all of these will work with your Ram 2500 to allow you to haul a gooseneck trailer, there are some key differences that'll set them apart. The biggest difference is going to be their towing capacities. Both our B&W and our KURT are going to have a max towing limit of 30,000 pounds and a max vertical load limit of 7,500 pounds, while our Draw-Tite's going to be a little bit less with a maximum towing capacity of 20,000 pounds and a maximum vertical load limit of 5,000 pounds. It is always recommended to check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure it's not going to exceed any of its towing or load limit capacities.Now, what's really nice about the way all of these goosenecks install on our Ram 2500 is that there's no additional rail kit required. Most other vehicles require this additional rail kit, whereas our Ram 2500 has an existing rail system already included in the vehicle where these will just bolt right up to it using the hardware provided. more

Reese Elite Series Pop In Ball Kit Installation - 2017 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2017 Ram 2500, we're going to be test fitting the Reese Elite Series pop in ball kit for the Ram under bed goose neck hitch. Part number is RP30140. Now, the ball itself is 2 5/16 of an inch, which is pretty standard for your goose neck balls. It offers a weight capacity of 30,000 pounds. Of course, you don't want to exceed the carrying capacity of your truck, so check the owner's manual and just go off whatever its tow rating is. Your safety chain connection points will come out just as easy. Lift the keeper, rotate and remove. more

Today on our 2017 RAM 2500 we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit for the RAM under-bed gooseneck hitch, part number is C60618. Now the ball itself is a 2-5/16" diameter, which is going to be pretty common when it comes to the gooseneck connectors. It offers a 30,000 pound weight capacity. Of course your truck is going to be the limiting factor. You don't want to exceed what your truck's tow rating is. That chrome plated finish is going to keep it looking nice for a long time to come. B and W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2017 Ram 2500 we'll be installing the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Custom Installation Kit, part number BWGNRK1384. All right, here's what our gooseneck looks like installed. As you can see, it's designed to work properly with our factory setup on our truck here. There was really no modification to the truck, just a couple minor drilling locations, and then it bolts in place where the factory prep package will be. Now that we've shown you the underside, we'll show you what it looks like on top. All right, here we are in the bed of the truck, and you can see what it looks like installed. As you can see, the only part we have really sticking out is our ball, 2 5/16 inch ball. more
