Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to take a look at, and also show you how to install, the curt double lock flip and store under bed gooseneck hitch with installation kit. Part number is C60712. Here's what our gooseneck is going to look like installed and not in use. That's one of the biggest advantages to the flip and store system is that we're able to use our bed completely when not in use. We're not like the old school style where we just had a ball always sticking up in the middle of the bed. When we're ready for use, we're going to pull the black rubberized protective cap off. That keeps out any dirt, grime, stuff like that. more

Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado were going to be installing the Blue Ox Underbed Goose Neck Trailer Hitch, part number DH1307. One thing that sets this goose neck apart from others is its ability to allow you to install or remove the goose neck ball without having to go around to the wheel well to pull the handle to unlock or lock the goose neck ball in place. Before we show you how to install this kit well show you what it looks like and how it works. To install the goose neck ball youll line it up with the hole, place it in and push in the locking tab and twist. This will lock it into position. To remove it you simply reverse that process. When not in use you can simply turn it upside down and lower it into place. Now lets show you how to install it. more

Today, in our 2009 Chevy Silverado, we'll be installing the CURT Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch, part number C615-632. Next, let's go ahead and go to the operation of our new gooseneck hitch and ball. To release the handle, we'll pull out, rotate it to the unlock position. Then we can install the ball. To install the ball, we'll lineup the groove in the ball with the nipple in the gooseneck cylinder. We'll drop the ball in place and then release the handle locking the ball to the gooseneck. more
