And if you're someone looking to carry around a few more things on the front of your e-series or get some work done, putting a winch up here, whatever the case may be, a front trailer hitch is gonna be a great solution for you to allow you to do those different types of things. And so there's gonna be two available for this vehicle. We're gonna have the Curt hitch up here and this one is a Draw-Tite hitch. And I'm not gonna lie to you, these are very similar in a lot of ways, not a ton of differences there. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2005 Ford Van - Curt- Video
Today on our 2005 Ford Van we're going to be installing the Curt Front Mounted Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 33055. Here's what our hitch looks like installed on our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you choose some accessories for your hitch such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, a winch or a spare tire carrier. From the top of the opening in the receiver to the ground we have 14 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper we have 5 inches. Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. Now to begin with we're going to need to remove this plastic valance piece right here on the underside. There's a total of four push fasteners that will need to be removed, two on each side. more
