Review of Coghlans First Aid Kit - Suction Cup Snake Bite Kit - CG75FR- Video

Hi everybody, my name is Andy with the etrailer.com, and today, we're taking a look at Coghlan's Snake Bite kit. If you are planning a backpacking or hiking or camping excursion where you know that you could potentially encounter some snakes, it would be very good to be prepared for the possibility of a snake bite, and this kit would be a really good thing to have on hand. Let's take a closer look at this kit. Now, this kit uses suction to remove venom from a snake bite, and before I open it for you, let me do a few measurements to give you an idea of the size. The overall length of this kit, we are sitting right at about 3 1/4 inches long, and at its widest point, which would be right around the center here, we are sitting, at the widest point, a little over an inch, maybe about an inch and a quarter, almost an inch and a quarter at its widest point there in the center. So when I open this up, the container is gonna become suction cups, so you're gonna have altogether three suction cups of various different sizes, and that's going to allow you to use whatever suction cup is going to be best to fit the body part and the bite size that needs to be treated. more

Today we're taking a look at the DayTripper General First Aid Kit.Now this is going to be a really handy kit to have just about anywhere that you might be in the outdoors. It's going to also have a waterproof pouch, so if you're out on the water, all your first aid items aren't going to get soggy and wet and useless, so it's going to be great for those marine applications, or if you're going hiking somewhere where it's going to be pretty rainy, that will also work well.Let's go ahead and look at what is actually in our kit. It does have this adhesive strip, so we'll have the hooks on the bag and then this loop material in this little strip that has an adhesive backing, so you can mount this to a bulkhead or any kind of sturdy surface.
