B and W Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation - 2004 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today, on our 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, we'll be having a look at, and installing, the B&W Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches, part number BWGNRK1067-5W. This fifth wheel installation kit is designed to let you install your Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches. The adapters are part numbers BWRVK3500 or part number BWRVK3400. The underbed design of the kit allows for full truck bed access. When you're ready, it's under five minutes to convert your empty truck bed into a 5th wheel hitch. We'll start off by unlocking our B&W hitch, and installing our 5th wheel adapter. We have ours preassembled, but you can adjust the uprights, here, depending on your truck and trailer combination. At this point, the hitch is ready to attach to a trailer. more

Today on our 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, we'll be installing the Custom Underbed Install Kit for B & W Companion Fifth Wheel Hitches, part number BWGNRK1062-5W. This is also available for our gooseneck applications, part number BWGNRK1062. Here's what our fifth wheel hitch will look like once it's installed. Next we'll go ahead and show you how to install the hitch. We're first going to go ahead and prep the vehicle by lowering and removing the spare tire and the rear wheels. Now with our spare tire down, we have more working room underneath. We're going to go ahead and cut out the heat shield here on the passenger side above the exhaust. more
