It has a nice waterproof plastic housing, prevents water from getting inside the light and you can see it's a nice durable clear plastic lens which allows the sunlight to pass through and charge the solar panel. Uses a nice, durable, clear plastic lens, which allows the sunlight to pass through and charge the solar panel, but still give you a nice elegant look to the light. Does use a solar-powered cell, which will charge with the sunlight throughout the day, offers eight hours of illumination on a single, full-day charge, and it uses an automatic on and off switch, so at dusk it'll come on and at dawn it'll automatically go off. Does use four warm white LEDs, which are brighter and longer lasting than incandescent bulbs, and it is a very simple installation. more
