T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package Installation - 2024 GMC Terrain- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Tekonsha T-One, 4-Pole trailer wiring harness on a 2024 GMC Terrain. And this is gonna be a great option if you have a hitch on your terrain already because if you ever plan on pulling a trailer or a situation comes up that you need to pull a trailer, having that 4-pole trailer wiring harness means that you can safely and legally tow that trailer to get the light functions. Having this here means that you're able to plug into that trailer and get running lights, turn signals, and brake lights. And normally when it comes to wiring install, you do have to run this up to a battery to get 12 volt power, that's not the case here. This is a super easy installation because there's already a factory plug located in the rear of the fascia. It allows you to plug this in and once you zip tie it up, you're pretty well ready to go. more

Adding four pole trailer wiring harness to any vehicle that has a hitch is always a great option and the terrain's no different, if you plan on pulling a trailer or if you ever need to pull a trailer for whatever instance, you're gonna have this available right here by your hitch and that way you can get all your light functions, including your running lights, your turn signals, as well as brake lights. And that's gonna keep you safe and legal in the process. And this one in particular is super easy. It's got two factory relays that are already on the harness, which make it so you don't have any back feed. There's no potential for that to damage anything electrically on your vehicle. more

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer and today, we're talking about the Tekonsha T-One Four Pole Wiring Harness on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. Now what this is gonna allow you to do is use your existing seven pole wiring and hook this four pole wiring to it so you have the ability to not only use a seven pole, but also a four pole wiring. So let's check it out. A reason why you might need a four pole wiring is if you have any accessories or trailers that only use four pole wiring because it is still a very common system to use. Now, this isn't gonna limit you to just using four pole, you'll still have ability to use the seven pole tube. I recommend just making sure that you know what your 4Runner has because there are plenty of different trim packages for the 4Runner and each one of them has different wiring kits already installed on them. more

Today, we have a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Tekonsha 4-pole trailer wiring harness. Adding a 4-pole harness to your Chevy Traverse is gonna allow you to transfer the lighting signals safely from your Traverse to your trailer that you're pulling. It'll come with this integrated dust cap that you can simply loop around the safety chain loop and attach it back to itself to keep it safe and out of the way. Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 GMC Acadia, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install, the CURT 7-Pole Wiring Harness. Adding the 7-pole wiring harness to the back of your Acadia is gonna allow you to tow trailers with brakes. And typically, a 4-pole wiring harness is gonna be for your trailers with without brakes. That's just the lighting signals transferred from your vehicle to the trailer. But if you're wanting to tow trailers that have brakes, or maybe a reverse light signal or if the trailer has a battery on it, or any accessory that runs off 12 volt, you're gonna need a 7-pole. more
