How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com today on our 2014 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness. Since many Tacoma owners use their trucks to do a little bit of towing. You're going to want to make sure that you stay safe and legal. And our four-pole wiring is going to provide our trailer with the necessary lighting functions to do so. Now the wiring is going to have a output of 7.5 amps per circuit for your tail lights, and 2.1 amps per circuit for your stop and turn. So what that means, regardless if your trailer has incandescent bulbs or even LEDs, you're going to have no problem powering them up. more

Best 2014 Toyota Tacoma Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best wiring options for your 2014 Toyota Tacoma. First, we've got the CURT T Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Flat Trailer Connector, Part Number C55513, and we've also got the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Harness with 4 Pole Flat Trailer Connector, Part Number 118496. CURT also has a wiring harness available with a 5 Pole Flat Trailer Connector, which is going to be good if you've got a trailer with surge breaks and you need that reverse lights circuit. That one's going to be Part Number C56513. The biggest difference we're going to see between these 2 wiring harnesses, is the amperage ratings on the circuits. On the CURT, it has a 3 amp rating on the turn and break light circuits and a 5 amp rating on the tail light circuit. On the Tekonsha, it has a 2.1 amp rating on the break and turn circuits, but a 7.5 rating on the tail light circuit. more
