Best 2011 Toyota Tacoma Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Today we're going to be looking at the best wiring options for your 2011 Toyota Tacoma. First we've got the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number C55513. Then we've also got the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number 118496. Curt also has a wiring harness available with a 5-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, which is going to be good if you've got a trailer with surge brakes and you need that reverse light circuit. That one's going to be part number C56513. The biggest difference that we're going to be seeing between these two wiring harnesses is the amperage ratings on the circuits. On the Curt, it has a 3 amp rating on the turn, and brake light circuits, and a 5 amp rating on the tail light circuit. On the Tekonsha, it has a 2.1 amp rating on the brake and turn circuits, but a 7.5 rating on the tail light circuit. more
