Today we're going to be taking a look at the best wiring options for your 2005 Toyota Tacoma. First we've got the CURT T-Connector vehicle wiring harness, with four-pole flat trailer connector, part number C55513. Then we've also got the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness with four-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118496. CURT also has a wiring harness available with the five-pole flat trailer connector, which is going to be good if you've got a trailer with surge brakes and you need that reverse light circuit. That one's going to be part number C56513. The biggest difference that we're going to see between these two wiring harnesses is the amperage ratings on the circuits. more
