Today on our 2018 Toyota RAV4, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Hopkins, Plug-in Simple, Wiring Harness, but before we do that, I'm gonna check it out and make sure, that this is gonna work for you. So when it comes to a RAV4, really popular SUV, I see people doing, a ton of different things with them, whether it's carrying around accessories or even pulling trailers. And if you're gonna be pulling a trailer, or even have a light up accessory like a cargo carrier, you're gonna want the lights to work. Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2018 Toyota RAV4- Video

Today in our 2018 Toyota RAV4, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the CURT T-connector vehicle wiring harness with a four pole flat trailer connector. That's going to be part number C56350. And to help us with our installation, we're going to be using this short, no drill mounting bracket, part number 18140, and the four pole flat mounting bracket, part number 18144.So here's what our wiring looks like once we have it installed. Now I do want to mention that we chose to mount ours on the outside close to our hitch, that way we can have it whenever we tow. So we added a couple brackets that are sold separately. But our wiring's going to give us a four pole flat trailer connector. more

Tow Ready Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2018 Toyota RAV4- Video

Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Toyota RAV4 we'll be having a look at and showing how to install the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness with a four-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118578. Here's what our wiring looks like installed. As you can see, when it's not in use we can easily store it in our spare tire compartment. When we want to use it, we can just take the wire out. We'll drape it over our rear bumper here, making sure we don't pinch it in our latch, and we can close our hatch.As you'll notice, our wire is long enough to easily reach down next to the receiver on our hitch. This makes it easy for us to hook up to our trailer. more
