Today we're going to be taking a look at the best trailer wiring harnesses available for the 2009 Toyota RAV4. We've got two different kits to look at today. Here we've got our Curt. This is part number C56165. Of course, just like our Tekonsha, this is going to give us a 4-pole flat trailer connector which is going to deliver our right turn and brake, our left turn and brake, our running lights, and our ground for our trailer, cargo carrier, whatever we decide to operate. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2009 Toyota RAV4- Video
Today on this 2009 Toyota RAV4 we are going to be installing wiring harness part number 118412. We are going to start off in the rear cargo area of the RAV4. The ports that we are looking for are located inside the vehicle behind both the driver and passenger side panels basically directly behind the tail light assembly. We are going to need to remove a few items to gain access to these ports. We are going to start by removing the floor board along with the cargo area and then we will be able to pull back the panels and gain access to the plugs. Next I am going to pull out the rear threshold piece and to do that we are going to need to release the mounting clips that are holding it into place on the top side here. Use a basic rivet removal tool and pry it up gently to release the clips. With those released we want to come to the bottom of it and we are going to lift straight up. 00:48 more
