Best 2014 Toyota Highlander Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best wiring options for your 2014 Toyota Highlander. First we've got our CURT customer vehicle wiring harness, part number C56217. Then we've got our Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness, part number 118449. Lastly we've got our CURT customer vehicle wiring harness, part number 56042. The first obvious difference that we're going to see here is that with this wiring harness over here this CURT does not have as much as the others. That's because if you have a Highlander that already has the tow package with the conveter mounted underneath the dash, this is all that you're going to need. But, if you don't, then one of these other two kits will be the right fit for you. The first difference that we're going to look at between the CURT and the Tekonsha wiring harnesses is the amperage rating on each circuit. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Highlander, we're going to take a look at and who you how to install the tow ready t1 vehicle wiring harness with the four pole flat trailer connector. Part number is 118449. This is what our wiring kit's going to look like when we pull it out of the package. The heart of our system here is going to be our converter box. That's going to take the signals that we get from the tin connector that we're going to find in the hatch area of the vehicle and this is going to convert it into a usable signal that's then going to be sent out of our four pin connector to our four pole connector that we can connect to the trailer. This is going to give us our right turn and brake, our left turn and brake, our running lights and our ground. Whether we're hooking it up to a trailer or a cargo career we're going to have full function on our lights. more
