Today we're going to be taking a look at the best custom fit vehicle wiring options available for the 2018 Subaru Outback wagon. Now custom fit vehicle wiring is going to be the solution that we need for getting power to a trailer or a cargo carrier behind our vehicle. Both we have here today are going to be four pole connectors. That's going to be the standard available connector for your Subaru. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector vehicle wiring harness with a four pole flat trailer connector, part number C56040. Our wiring kit is designed to stay on the inside of the vehicle at all times, and it is going to be easily stored right by our spare tire tools. Now whenever we are ready to use it, we can simply pull it out, drop our wire down, and as long as we stay away from the latch mechanism, our wire will be completely safe for us to close the hatch.Our wires have provided us with a four pole flat trailer connector that's going to give us all the required lights to get down the road safely and securely, including our running lights, turn signals, and our brake lights. As you can see, we'll have plenty of wire to drop it out and connect up to our trailer. Our wiring kit is going to include a dust cover to keep all that dirt, debris, and anything else out of the connector preventing corrosion. And when we store it, we can actually use it to wrap around the wire and keep everything in a nice little bundle.Our wiring kit is going to be a plug and play installation. more

Hopkins Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon- Video
Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with a four pole flat trailer connector. That's gonna be part number HM11143885.So our wiring is gonna stay on the inside of our vehicle at all times until we're ready to use it. We have ours stored down here by our spare tire tools. Whenever we get ready to use it, we could simply drop it out right by our hitch. The weather stripping is gonna provide enough cushion for our wire to where it won't get damaged, provided that we stay away from the actual latch itself.Keep in mind that our wire's not gonna be the longest, but it should be long enough to reach up and hook up to our trailer. Now, our wiring is gonna provide us with a four pole flat trailer connector, giving us all the required lights to get down the road safely and legally, like our tail lights, turn signals, and our stop lights. more

And whenever we get ready to use, we can simply just drop it out the hatch, and it'll be right by our receiver tube, ready for us to hook up.Now, it's going to give us a 4-pole flat trailer connector. And it's going to provide us with all the required lights to get safely down the road, like our taillights, turn signals, and our brake lights. more
