Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install, the Tekonsha T-One, trailer wiring harness, here on our 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. So, this is what our trailer connector is gonna look like installed. Now, keep in mind, it doesn't come with the brackets needed to actually mount the 7-way. But we'll show you how to do that a little later in the video. So, this particular wiring harness here, it's gonna provide us with a 7-way trailer connector. So, this is gonna be the industry standard for your larger trailers with brakes, or an onboard battery. more

Hi there Pathfinder owners. Today in your 2017 Nissan Pathfinder we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install Tekonsha's four pole flat trailer connector vehicle wiring harness.This is what our wiring looks like when it's installed. Our harness is going to provide us with a four pole flat trailer connector here at the back of our vehicle that's going to provide us with all the necessary lighting signals, which includes our left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps, and brake lamps, keeping us DOT compliant in all states. My favorite part about this harness is how it is custom fit for our Pathfinder, and plugs directly into factory connectors throughout the vehicle. It's a super quick and easy installation due to this. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today on our 2017 Nissan Pathfinder we'll be taking a look at and installing the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number 118670. Here's what our wiring looks like installed. As you can see, it's a four-pole flat connector here, which will give us our running lights, our turn signals, tail lights, and our brake lights on our trailer. It's all the lighting functions that are required by law in order for us to safely tow a trailer. Now, our wiring has this nice dust cover that's built into it to help protect it from the elements and any dirt or corrosion that could possibly occur. That way, when you're ready to hook up to your trailer, you'll know your wiring will be ready to use at any given time. What I really like about the Tekonsha wiring harness that we used today is it's really easy to install, plugs right in, and it gives you adequate length wire to run the wire right down next to your hitch. more

Best 2017 Nissan Pathfinder Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Today on our 2017 Nissan Pathfinder we'll be looking at our best trailer wiring options. We have three wiring options here today. Off to the right we have the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness with a four-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118670. In the middle we have the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness with a seven-pole connector, part number 118273. Off here to the left we have the Hopkins Plug-In Simple vehicle wiring harness with a four-pole flat trailer connector, part number HM11143690. Now the biggest differences that we have in our trailer wiring harness besides the fact that we have a seven-way here and two four-ways, is that both the seven-way and the four-way that we have here from Tekonsha will connect to the vehicle's existing tow package wire connectors. Now the Hopkins doesn't utilize the factory tow package wiring. more
