Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Nissan Murano, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with a 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. That's gonna be part number C56267.Here's what our wiring's gonna look like once we have it installed. It is gonna live on the inside of the vehicle until we're ready to use it to tow, and it is gonna provide us with a 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. It's gonna give us all the lights we need to safely get down the road, like our tail lights, turn signals, and our brake lights.All the connections are gonna be made on the inside of the vehicle underneath some of these panels here. It's gonna connect in between our tail lights to get the signal. Then we're gonna get our power source from a connector back here. more

Best 2016 Nissan Murano Trailer Wiring Harness- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Nissan Murano we're going to be taking a look at the best vehicle wiring options. Now these are going to be our two wiring options here. Here on your left side you have the Tekonsha, part number 118660. Here on your right side we're going to have to CURT, part number 56267. Both are going to have converter boxes, so it doesn't draw any power from your taillights. However, it's going to protect your vehicle from any backfeed from your trailer if your trailer has any wiring problems.Now the only differences we're going to have between these two wiring harnesses is your Tekonsha is going to have a 4.2 amp per circuit for your stop and turn and 7.5 amp per circuit for your taillights, whereas your CURT is going to have 3.0 amps for your stop and turn and 6.0 amps per circuit for your taillights. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Nissan Murano- Video
Today on our 2016 Nissan Murano, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118660. This is what our wiring harness looks like when it's installed. As you can see it's going to live inside the vehicle, so when not in use, you just roll it up, drop it down into your spare tire area, close your lid, and it's safely stored away. When you do want to use it, simply pull it out, drop your panel back down. What you want to do is rest it over this rubber trim here. Stay away from any connection points that your hatch is going to make. more
