Speaker 1: Today in our 2012 Nissan Murano we're gonna be having a look at our best trailer wiring options. Okay, we have two different options here today. This is our Curt Key Connector and then we have our Tekonsha T1. First we're gonna point out the key differences between our wiring harnesses. As far as power output goes, we found the Tekonsha wiring harness to be the clear winner here because it does a higher power output than the Curt. As far as construction quality goes we found the Tekonsha wiring harness here to be the winner here because in our experience we found these to be a little bit better built.Now both of these wiring harnesses are gonna give us our basic four pull flat trailer connector. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Nissan Murano- Video
Today on our 2012 Nissan Murano, we'll be taking a look at and installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, Part Number 55571. Now, our 4-pole wires are going to be great for anybody that's looking to get some lights to their trailer. This will have your tail lights or running lights, your left turn signal, your right turn signal, and your brake lights. This will be good for any trailer that your vehicle can pull unless it has a different wiring adapter. When you're ready to use it, you'll simply run it out the back, go ahead and pull it out of our stowed area in the spare tire compartment, and out the back when we're ready to use it. You'll have plenty to hook it up to your trailer wherever that connection may be, and we'll close down the hatch over the top. This weatherstripping is going to be thick enough and it won't damage it. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Nissan Murano 118481- Video
Today on our 2012 Nissan Murano, we'll be installing the Tow ready T-One Connector, part number 118481. Next we'll go ahead and show you how to use your new 4-pole connector. We'll take our 4-pole and run it out and down to the center of the hitch or accessory. Be careful, stay away from the latch as pinching the wire off in the latch can harm it. However, the weather seal is thick enough that it won't when we simply close the rear cargo door on the wire. Then once we're finished using our new 4-pole wire we'll go ahead and open up the rear cargo door, roll it up and store it in the rear storage tray. To begin our installation, we'll first open up the rear cargo door. more
