Today, on this 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500, we're going to review the T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number, 118649.All right, this is what our wiring harness looks like when it's installed on our Sprinter van. You notice all you can see, of course, it's going to be a 4-Pole Wire Harness, with a built-in cover. That it goes on when you're not using it, and it protects it. Then when you wire up your van to pull a trailer, you definitely want to use a module such as this. What the module does, it actually uses battery power, and then it copies the signal from the turn signals and the brake signal and running lights and uses battery power, to power the lights on the trailer. So if your trailer has any problems with it all, the box actually protects the vehicle from the trailer, from any shorts.Now our wire harness is designed to plug into the factory taillights and the sockets behind them. more
