Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Kia Sportage- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Kia Sportage, we're gonna installing the Curt T-Connector 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Harness, part number C56251. This connector's gonna give you all your necessary lights you need for your trailer. It's got your left turn, right turn, brake, and tail amp signals. It comes with a dust cap so you can store it outside your vehicle or if you leave it outside while not connected to your trailer, you can cover it up, keeping out any dirt and debris. This Curt harness has a control box that will protect your vehicle circuits from any shorts or overloads on your trailer. The control box uses a separate fused power circuit from your battery so it doesn't draw any additional load on your tail amp circuits in your vehicle, potentially causing one of those fuses for your vehicle's tail amps to open.We're gonna start our installation under the vehicle and locate the vehicle's factory harness that we'll be plugging our T-Connector harness into. more

Best 2013 Kia Sportage Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best wiring options for your 2013 Kia Sportage. Here we have the Tekonsha, that's going to be part number 118526. Here in the middle is the Curt and that's going to be part number C56251. Finally, here on the end it's going to be the Hopkins and that's going to be part number HM11143795. Now the end result on all our kits is going to be the same. It's going to give us a four pole flat allowing us to have our clearance lights, turn signals and brake lights on our trailer. All of our wiring kits are going to stay inside of our vehicle until we're ready to use them. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Kia Sportage 118526- Video
Today on our 2013 Kia Sportage we're going to review and install the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with a four pole flat trailer connector, part number 118526. Now you're going to need this wiring harness when you pull a trailer to provide the basic lighting functions. We're going to have our green for right turn, yellow for left turn, brown for running lights and white for our ground signal. This will also provide our brake signal too. Now our wire harness has a built in four pole cover right here to help protect it when it's not being used. And since it's fused into the end here it'll be very hard to lose it at all. And this will be a great addition to a small trailer. more
