Today on our 2015 Kia Sorento, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness with a 4-pole flat trailer connector. Part number is C56256. Now here's what our wiring's going to look like before we get it installed. Here's our main gold, I have a four pole trailer connector to power lights or cargo carrier, whatever we're going to have that connected to. Our red, yellow, brown wire, this is going to run in behind our driver side tail light. Our white wire you can see it's got a ring terminal on it. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Kia Sorento C56151

Today on our 2015 Kia Sorento, we'll be installing the Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number C56151. To begin our install, we'll first need to remove the underbody panel on the driver's side. The underbody panel here on the driver's side has four pushpin fasteners where we'll screw the center of the fastener out and then remove it. You may need to hold the outer portion of the fastener as you unscrew the center. Now once we have those four fasteners out, we'll set them aside for now and then we'll go ahead and pull the panel down. Now it's held in position with two pushpin fasteners going over metal studs that come through the bottom of the vehicle floorboard. A quick snap or pop will free them up. Now with the panel down and out of the way, we can see the two manufacturer's electrical connection points. more
