As you can see, it lives outside of the vehicle. It's going to give you all the necessary functions for lighting your trailer. It's going to give you your right turn signal, left turn signal, your brake lights, your running lights, and your ground. It's also going to come with a dust cap. It's going to help keep the elements off of all of your connections, to help with any corrosion. more

Today we're looking at a 2005 KIA Sorento. We're going to install a Tow Ready T1 Connector, product number 118307. The first step in installing a new connector is locating the manufacturer's trailer wiring on the vehicle. The plug is mounted on the passenger's side frame rail between the frame rail and the spare tire. You can see in this application, the yellow which is the inside of the plug. Normally, there'll be a cap over this plug that you'll need to remove first. more

Today we are going to install part number 118307 on our Kia Sorrento, 2005 model. And we will show you how it plugs in. To install the part, it is a pretty simple device. There is an actual port for a towing package on the passengers side frame rail, right here. And all you have got to do, basically, is just pull off the cap. Push in this little button in and the cap comes out, and the T-1 connector actually just plugs right back in there. And at this point, you just route the T-1 however you want. Tie off the converter box in a safe location, and then just run your wires out to your hitch. more
