Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Today on 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness with four-pole flat trailer connector. Part number 118416. This is what it looks like when it's installed. You're going to have an attached dust cap, and the extra wiring, again just put the extra back in the back of the hitch with a zip tie. If I need more for some reason I can always pull it off and zip tie what I don't need. Now with this dust cap being attached it also doubles as the hanger, so your wiring harness doesn't touch the ground. Now what we're going to do is we're going to remove these screws, and that's what we wanted access to. more

Today on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be a taking a look at and showing you how to install the Kirk T Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with Four Pull Flat Trailer Connectors, part number C55124. This what our wiring harness looks like when it's installed. You see the dust cap is attached. Any extra wiring that I had, I just zip tied up to the back so if it needs to extended for any reason, you just cut the zip tie off, take it out to the length that you want, zip tie the rest of it up. When it's not in use, the cap doubles as a hanger so your cord doesn't drag the ground. This is what you're going to get in your kit. You're going to get your connector that's going to connect right into your driver's side tail light. Wiring that comes from the front, your four pull flat, your dust cap, you're going to get a self typing screw, and you're going to get some zip ties. What we're going to do is we're going to remove these screws, and that's what we wanted access to. more
