Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Jeep Renegade

Today we're going to be reviewing and installing the T1 vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118651 on our 2016 Jeep Renegade. All you do is open your trunk, open your little cargo hatch here, then right underneath there in the spare tire area where we keep this. You can run it right out over here, which is perfect. You can plug it into your trailer, but you want to be sure to avoid this area so it doesn't get pinched or anything, and could damage it and cause you some problems. If you keep it out over here, it should be nice and protected and form perfectly into this weather strip when you close the trunk going down the road. Then whenever you're done, all you do is take it, tuck it right back in there. Over here we've got the entire wiring harness, the T connector for the passenger side, T connector that goes behind the driver's side tail light, then here's the module that's in there. more
