Rob: Hey everybody, Rob here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the best trailer wiring options for your 2015 through 2020 Jeep Renegade. So to start out, our first wiring kit over here is going to be the CURT T-Connector Wiring Harness, it's going to provide us the four-pole flat trailer connector. Then over here, we have our Tekonsha Wiring, which is also going to give us our four-pole flat trailer connector. Now a four-pole flat trailer connector is going to be one of the most common trailer connectors, usually find it on small utility trailers, boats, jet ski trailers, things like that. But we do have the option with both kits to upgrade them to a seven way if you need to later on down the road. Really there's not a whole lot of difference between our two wiring kits. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Jeep Renegade, you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with Four-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number 118651.This is what our four-pole looks like when it's installed. It's going to give you all the proper lighting functions for your trailer. It's going to give you your ground, your power wire, your right turn, left turn, brakes, and running lights. It's got an included dust cap, it's attached. It's going to help keep the moisture off of all of your connections. Now, let's show you how to get this installed.To begin installation, we're going to need to remove our interior trim panels here to gain access to the wiring behind the tail lights. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Jeep Renegade C56274- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Renegade, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with the 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. Part number is C56274. When you're ready to use your trailer, you pull up your cover, take your wire out. You're going to lay it over the sill plate here across the weather strip which is going to help hold it in place. Just make sure you stay away from the center where the latch is going to be. You just close your hatch over top of it, then you hitch it up to your trailer. more
