Hey guys, it's Jay here with etrailer. Today we have a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt four pole trailer wiring harness. Adding a four pole to your Jeep is gonna allow you to do a few things. First and foremost, it's gonna allow you to give the proper signals from your vehicle to your trailer so that others behind you know that you're safe and legal and they know what your intentions are. So if you wanna make a right turn or turn into a parking lot, they're gonna know that because your vehicle's sending the signals to the trailer lights. Another thing which is more common now is that there's accessories that are coming with accessory lights on them like a cargo carrier or some bike racks even have lights. more

Hi there Jeep owners. Today in our 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Tekonsha's seven pole vehicle wiring harness. It is a four pole flat trailer connector that's going to provide you with all the necessary lighting you'll need to keep you DOD compliant in all States. This includes your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps, so everybody behind you knows your intentions when you're going down the road.One of the best parts about this harness is that it has a module that is included with it and built in. And that module will monitor the lighting signals to your factory tail lights, and then the module will reproduce a signal and send it to your trailer. What's nice about that is that none of the circuitry in your car is sending anything to the trailer. more
