Today on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee we'll be having a look at our best trailer wiring options. We have three options here today for the Jeep Grand Cherokee that is equipped with the factory tow package. If you don't have the factory tow package, we have several options available on our website for you. Over here to the right we have the Hopkins seven and four-pole trailer connector socket with mounting bracket. It's part number HM40975. In the middle we have a Tekonsha Multi-Tow seven-way and four-pole trailer connector, part number 20119. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to review and install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with a 5-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number C56515. Here's what our 5-flat harness is going to look like once it's installed. The 5-flat harness will have a running, turn and brake signal circuits and the reverse light circuit. This will allow you to duplicate the signals coming from the vehicle to our trailer or towing product. Note the reverse light will then activate on your trailer or, more specifically, for a hydraulic lockout circuit like on boat trailers. Note the 5-flat trailer connector can work in conjunction with just a standard 4-flat trailer connection. We just simple don't use the 5th pole, which is for the reverse tail lights. more

Next we'll go ahead and show you the minimum tools required for installing the trailer connector. Use a flat blade or trim-panel tool and just a socket and ratchet for tightening down our hardware. Today on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to review and install the tow ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number 118384. The 4-flat trailer connector is a standard trailer and accessory connection point. This will duplicate the vehicle's running, turn, and brake signal circuits. Everything that happens on the vehicle, will get duplicated on your towing product or accessory. Next we'll go ahead and show you the minimum tools required for installed the trailer connector. Use a flat blade or trim panel tool and just a socket and ratchet for tightening down our hardware. Now I'll go ahead and show you how easy it is to install. Today on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to review and install the Pollak 7- and 4-Pull Trailer Connector-Vehicle End, part number HM40975. Here's what our Pollak 7-pull and 4-flat trailer connector looks like once it's installed. This is our vehicle side, so everything that the vehicle does, like running, brake, or turn signal circuits, will get duplicated here at our trailer connector, and sent out to our trailer or towing product. On one side, we have a 7-round, or 7-blade, style trailer connector. On the other side, we have the standard 4-flat trailer connector. This can be used in a variety of applications, and covers a majority of the trailer and towing products on the market today.
