Today on our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee we'll be looking at our best trailer wiring options. All right, we have two wiring harnesses here today. Both of these provide us with a four-pole flat trailer connector. Right here we have the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness, part number 11825. Now over here we have the Curt T-Connector, part number C56009. The biggest difference that we found between our two wiring harnesses here, besides the fact they come from different brands, is our dust covers. Our dust cover on the Tekonsha is molded in to the end of our four-pole flat here, so you don't have to worry about it falling off. more

Today in our 2011 jeep grand cherokee we're going to show you how to install the curt t connector vehicle wiring harness with the 4 pole flat trailer connector. It's part number of C56009. All right guys, here's what the wiring harness for the jeep's going to look like. Super simple easy thing to set up. The yellow and ground, that's going to go behind our driver side taillight housing. It's going to run over here to the middle where it goes into our 4 pole plug. Then from our 4 pole plug we'll have the green and white wire. more

Today on our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, were going to install the Tow Ready T1 Connector, part number 118425. First, were going to need to access the rear cargo area. Then were going to go ahead and remove the rear tail light assemblies. Each assembly has two fasteners holding it in position. Well need to pry the center out of the plastic pushpin fasteners. Were going to get each of them started with a small pocket screwdriver then Ill use a larger screwdriver to really get that center pried out so that we can release the fastener. more
