Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 GMC Terrain

Hi there Terrain owners, today in your 2016 GMC Terrain, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install to conscious T-One factory vehicle wiring harness. Your trailer wiring isn't going to be located here on the outside, instead it's protected from the elements by being stored on the inside. You'll find your connector underneath your cover, where you store your spare tire, and it's stored right here. Whenever you're ready to use it, you can simply unwind it, drape it over the back, making sure you avoid the striker here in the middle, and it'll pinch between our weatherstripping, which will hold it in place, but won't cause any damage to our wiring. We'll close our cover and then shut our lift gate. Here at the end, we have our standard four-pole flat trailer connector. This is going to provide us our left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps, and brake lamps, keeping us DOT compliant in all states. more
