Today we'll be taking a look at the best wiring options for your 2014 Ford Fusion. Here we have our Tekonsha wiring harness, part number 118574. Here we have our CURT wiring harness, part number C56178. This is what our wiring's going to look like when it's all installed. Both wiring harnesses are going to give you a four-pole flat. They're both going to stay inside the trunk when not in use. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Ford Fusion- Video
Today on our 2014 Ford Fusion, we're going to be taking a look at the Curt 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number C56178. This is what our wiring is going to look like installed. It is going to stay inside the trunk at all times and what I like to do is simple put it underneath my mat or put it down by the spare tire and whenever I'm ready to use it, simple grab a little bit of wire, stay away from the center, make sure. As you can see, the weather stripping, it has a little bit of give so when you go to close your trunk, it's not going to hurt the wire and we can still pull our wire out to get as much or as little as we need to connect to our trailer. This is going to be everything that comes in the kit, and one of the nice features of this kit is the box. The converter box is going to keep any problems that may happen with your trailer from effecting your vehicle. Another nice feature is the T-connectors. more
