Best 2012 Ford Focus Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Today in our 2012 Ford Focus, we'll be looking at our best wiring options. We have two wiring options here today. If you have a hatchback model, we have different options available for you on our website. Over here to you're right, we have the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness with a four pole flat connector, part number 118548. Over here to the left, we have the Curt vehicle wiring harness with the T connector, part number C56138. This will also give us a four pole flat trailer connector. Now both of our boxes here provide our trailers lighting functions isolated from our vehicles wiring system. Now, the Tekonsha wiring box has advanced circuitry in it which will prevent any back feeding of voltage if our trailer has a short. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Ford Focus- Video
Today on our 2012 Ford Focus well be installing Tow Ready T1 connector, part number 118549. Now well begin by opening the tailgate and remove the vehicles taillight housing assemblies. To do this here on the drivers side well remove the black plastic cover and pull back the insulation liner to access the plastic wing nut holding the taillight in place. Theres another wing nut in here that well also need to undo. With both wing nuts undone we can remove the drivers side taillight. Well repeat this process to remove the passenger side assembly. more
