Today we're taking a look at the best wiring options for your 2014 Ford Escape. Here we have our wiring kits. On the end here, we have the Tekonsha, this is gonna be the T-One, part number 118566. Then here we have the Curt, which is gonna be part number C56146. Then finally here we have the Hopkins, which is gonna be part number HM11140514. Now they're all gonna give us the same end result. They're gonna give us a 4-Pole flat that we can hook up to our trailer and have the appropriate lights. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Ford Escape- Video
Today on this 2014 Ford Escape were going to install part number C56164 from Curt. This is a Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness. To start our install we need to go ahead and open the back hatch and get access to the taillights, were going to temporarily remove them. Once we get to the taillights there will be two little covers that were going to pop off thats on top of the screws. Then well go ahead and remove the screws. Then well go ahead and remove the taillight. To remove the taillight well need to pull straight back. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Ford Escape 118566- Video
Today in our 2014 Ford Escape, we'll be installing the Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part number 118566. To begin our install, we'll first go ahead and open up the rear cargo door. We'll need to remove both rear tail lights assemblies. To remove the tail light assemblies, there are two fasteners in each. These fasteners are covered up with caps. We'll go ahead and remove the caps and then the fasteners. more
