Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Dodge Journey- Video
Rob: How's it going everybody, Rob here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt T-Connector vehicle wiring harness on our 2014 Dodge Journey. Now our Curt T-Connector harness is going to provide us with a four-pole flat trailer connector. That way we can have all the required lights when we're towing our trailer to get down the road legally and safely, like our taillights, our turn signals and our stoplights. One thing I do want to mention about our wiring is that it does not come with the brackets to mount it up. Here we're using a four-pole bracket as well as a short no-drill bracket because we didn't have any spots on our hitch. more

Best 2014 Dodge Journey Trailer Wiring Options- LED Tail Lights- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Journey we'll be looking at our best trailer wiring options. We have two options here today. Both of these options are for Dodge Journeys that have LED taillights. If you have incandescent taillights, which are just standard light bulbs, we have different options available for you on our website. Right over here to the right is the Tekonsha T-One connector, part number 118536. To the left is the CURT custom vehicle-to-trailer wiring harness, part number C56154. Both of our wiring harnesses here give us a standard four-pole flat connector to hook up to our trailer. more

Both of these options are for Dodge Journeys that have LED taillights. Over here, to our right, we have the Tekonsha T-One, part number 118536. Over here, to the left, we have the Curt T-Connector, part number C56154. Now, if you're curious if your vehicle has LED taillights, we have a look over at our Dodge Journey here, we can show you what those look like. If you have these rings with multiple lights going around the outside edge, that's when you know you have an LED taillight. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Dodge Journey- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Journey, we're going to be taking a look at, then we're going to show you how to install the Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with the 4 Pole Flat Trailer Connector. Part number is 118536. Now here's our wiring kit when we pull it out of the box, now this is going to be the perfect solution for getting a 4 Pole Flat Trailer Connector to the rear of your Journey when your vehicle is equipped with the LED taillights. Now this kit offers us the left, right, turn, and brake. It's also going to give us running lights, and a ground from our vehicle to our trailer so everything works appropriately. The heart of this system is going to be our converter box. Now this box is going to take signal from behind the taillights, you can see we've got our yellow for the driver's side here. more
