Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Dodge Durango- Video
Today on our 2012 Dodge Durango we're going to be taking a look at the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118552. Here's what our wiring looks like fully installed. It is going to stay on the outside of the vehicle at all times, so since it is going to be staying on the outside of the vehicle, it's going to have that cover so we don't have to worry bout any dirt and debris getting in there, as well as we can hook it onto our hitch and it's going to be ready for us whenever we're ready to tow. As you can see, you're going to have plenty of wire to hook up to your trailer and when you're finished, you can just hook your dust cap around your hitch, and then it'll be ready for you. This kit is going to allow you to tow your trailer with all the proper lighting, but also protect your vehicle in case there is an issue on the trailer end, it's not going to back=feed and do any damage to your vehicle's lighting system. Now that we've gone over some of these features, let's show you how to get it installed. To begin our installation we're going to need to open our back hatch and we're going to be removing our taillights. If we come to our taillights, we're going to have two small tabs here, I'm just going to be using a flathead screwdriver to pop that center section out. Just like that and we're going to repeat the same process for this one down here, and the other two on our other taillight. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Dodge Durango C56133- Video
Today on this 2012 Dodge Durango we're going to be installing the Curt T-Connector 4-Pole Wiring Harness, part number C56133. To being our install we'll go ahead and open up the rear hatch of the vehicle to gain access to our taillights. Next, we'll need to remove the taillights by taking out these 2 pushpin fasteners and we're going to be using a flat-bladed screwdriver. With that done, we'll go ahead and rock the taillight back and forth until it comes loose. We can then disconnect the 2 plugs going into the taillight. The larger plug comes out after pushing down on the release here on top and with the smaller plug you'll need to take a flat-bladed screwdriver and push out the red tab and that should release it. more
