Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Volt, you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install, the CURT T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. This is what our wiring looks like when it's installed. You can see it's going to live inside of the vehicle. When you're ready to use it, you just want to make sure, you want to over top this rubber seal inaudible 00:00:19 from any connection points. Take out as much as you need, close your hatch, hook it up to your trailer.When you're done using it, simply roll it up. You can either store it right back in your back hatch area or lift your floor coverings up and store it right down in a compartment. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Volt we'll be having a look at our best trailer wiring options. Here we have the Tekonsha T1, part number 118726. Over here we have the CURT T-Connector, part number C56315. Now the first biggest difference that we found between our two wiring harnesses here today is in regards to power output. Our Tekonsha wiring harness here has more power output than our CURT wiring harness does. On our stop and turn signal circuits, we have a total power output of five amps per side. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Volt, we'll be having a look at and installing the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness with four pole flat trailer connector. Part number 118726. Here's what our wiring looks like installed. As you can see we have an adequate length of wire that reaches down right next to our receiver hitch. Now this wiring harness gives us the basic lighting functions that are required by law in order for us to safely and legally tow a trailer.This white wire here provides the necessary ground connection between our bolt and our trailer. This brown wire here is our taillight and running light circuit. more
