Today, we're gonna have four different wiring options to choose from. We're gonna have 2 four-way flat connectors and 2 seven-way connectors. So for the four-way flats right here, we're going to have the Tekonsha, and right here, we're gonna have the Curt. Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2019 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com. Today we'll be taking a look at the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with a seven-way RV style connector on our 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. Our Curt wiring is going to give us all seven functions at the back of our Traverse. We'll get all of our lights, like our taillights, turn signals, brake lights, and our reverse lights. But we're also going to get a 12 volt power source back here, and a brake controller circuit, if we want to add one later. We're going to have a nice spring-loaded door so you can keep all that dirt, debris and moisture outside of the connector. more

Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2019 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com, and today, we're going to be taking a look at the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with a seven blade RV-style connector on our 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. Now, our Tekonsha wiring is going to provide us with all the lights we need to get down the road safely, like our taillights, our turn signals, our brake lights and even our reverse lights, but it's also going to give us a brake output signal in case we have a brake controller in our Traverse, as well as a 12-volt power source to power anything on our trailer. Now, our 7-way connector is going to have a spring loaded door, so we don't have to worry about it coming open and anything getting inside. There is going to be a gasket on the inside of the door as well to keep all that dirt debris, moisture, or anything else from inside the connection points.Now, if we also look on the door, we're going to have this little notch here and that's what's actually going to catch onto your 7-way plug and prevent it from getting pulled out while we're driving down the road. And one of my favorite things about our wiring is how easy it installs. A lot of customers are worried when it comes to wiring about cutting or splicing into their vehicle. more

Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com and today you're going to be taking a look at the Curt T Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness on our 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. Now our Curt wiring harness is going to provide us with a four pole flat trailer connector. So we have all the required lights to get down the road safely, like our running lights, our turn signals, and our brake lights. Now our wiring is going to stay on the outside of the vehicle at all times so it'll be right by our hitch ready for us whenever we want to tow. And the nice thing is going to include a dust cap that we can actually use to hold our wiring by our hitch whenever we're not using it, but it's also going to keep all that dirt, debris and moisture out of the connector, and hopefully prevent any kind of corrosion.As far as installation, it is going to be extremely straight forward and the hardest part of it actually is going to be accessing the factory plug because we're not going to have to cut or splice anything. We're going to have one plug behind the bumper right above our exhaust that we'll plug into and then we'll just ride it over towards our hitch. more
