Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Traverse

Today on our 2012 Chevy Traverse, we'll be installing the Curt T Connector Wiring Kit, part number C56027. To begin with, we'll need to raise the rear hatch of the vehicle. Then we're going to go ahead an remove both of the taillight assemblies. To do this, there are 2 small plastic tabs that we'll need to remove from each side. They will not be completely removed, as they are connected by a small plastic tether, which you'll need to lift them out of the way so you can remove the one screw that is in each hole. Once you have the screws removed and you pull the light assembly off the vehicle, you need to remove the wiring harness from the back of the light. To do this, you'll squeeze the tab and pull the wiring harness free. more
