Today we're going to be taking a look at the best wiring options for your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Depending on the situation you find yourself in, we're going to have three different options. Here on your right side we're going to have Tow Ready's Draw-Tite gooseneck fifth wheel wiring. Here in the center we're going to have Hopkins' replacement OEM seven and four-pole plug. Here on your left we're going to have CURT's four-pole add-on wiring.Let's talk about our gooseneck fifth wheel wiring harness first. This is going to allow us to utilize our factory seven-pole plug on the back of our vehicle while adding a seven-pole plug in the back of the truck. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we're going to take a look at and and show you how to install the CURT T-connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for the factory tow package. This is going to offer the 4 pole flat trailer connector. The part number is C55384. We need to test the wiring of course and make sure it's going to work for us. We'll use a standard test site. We're going to use the ground clamp right on the ground stud. Now for our standard running lights, we'll want a constant signal from our ground wire. more

Pollak Trailer Connector Socket Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Double Cab, we're going to install part number HM40975. This is a Pollak 7 and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket. We're going to remove the blank that holds the wire harness in place. Now, I already have it loosened up. You can pull it out. This is our new part here. more
